“With the mission of protecting the public through cuttingedge technologies, Optel Vision prepares to support the pharmaceutical industry in its fight against fake medicines that represent a threat to the populations around the world. It is with this maturity and its firm ground that the company faces the next 25 years. With infinite innovation opportunities to realize its mission, Optel Vision will be able to deploy its solutions with a team of experts all around the world” says Mr. Louis Roy, President of Optel Vision.

The Optel Vision training plan is the result of a development plan implemented in order to make possible the production of new and more complex products and to acquire new markets. In order to do so, Optel Vision will offer training to all its employees. The company plans hiring Engineering Technicians, Validation Specialists, Software Programmers, Engineers and Project Managers. Partnerships with different schools has been established to fill these positions and the ensure the training requirements.

“In the course of the last 25 years, we greatly invested in the research and development of new products. This is how we doubled our sales figure. In consequence, we proceeded with the hiring of dozens of employees and the hiring of personnel will continue to increase. The research of employees to fill these highly specialized positions is a great challenge, as well as the retention of our current employees. The financial support of EmploiQuébec is excellent news since our training project will allow us to create new jobs and to develop our staff’s abilities to satisfy our customer’s requirements and to widen our products offer” concluded Mr. François Boivin, General Manager of Optel Vision.
